Instead of thinking about how tough it is, you could think about how you're always guaranteed solid hill training. You'll be better prepared for hills than many of your competitors.

Ya, I often struggle to see the positive side when I'm hurting going up at the end of a run, but I really should work on trying to keep my mindset more positive during it and reminding myself the good that will come out of it.

You could always try ending your run down the hill. We dont live at the top.....

Ya but that requires getting to the top to go down, and we're close enough that getting to the top is really close to the end of any run

and the classic finish to many O courses is to have an uphill finish chute (makes it safer for the runners and easier for the spectators and officials (runners are going slower))
