Discussion: Skiing

Glad that you’re getting to ski a bit. Where do you go to ski? We keep losing our snow...supposed to get a couple of inches but it may include rain :^(. Our ski-O this weekend will probably be a foot-O.

I can ski from the end of the road (a 4-minute walk from home) or drive 2 miles to the bottom of the hill for groomed trails. Been doing the latter so far this year. I’m also volunteering at all the middle and high school ski races, which take me to the fabulous trails by the anchorage airport. But I have energized to actually ski while there yet. Once we get thru the January thaw, we usually keep snow on the trails until sometime in April.
