Madame Coureur des Bois! I had no idea this was your first time doing the full CSM. It's a wonderful journey - very well organized and as Canadian as it gets. Hope you're celebrating this week!

Sorry to hear it! That's a long time to have a stupid cough. I guess it's a good week to hunker down and watch the snow fall.

What a great read. All the times I’ve done it, (4 or 5?) I don’t think it was as icy as you describe. I do remember having to actually jump over fallen skiers with my full pack on a couple of times though.

Well planned, well trained, perfectly executed despite being sick earlier.

So well done! I loved reading your write up.
What a wonderful truly Canadian event. It is on my to do list, but after I retire so I can spend a bunch of time in snow country training for it.

Thx guys:). It's pretty cool and definitely a very Canadian event. The vibe is excellent, everything is bilingual and people are excited to be there or excited to have you there. Worth training for for sure. And you need recovery time as well as training time.
