Yes. I'd have taken classical skis, and stayed in those nice tracks you laid down earlier. With a dab of purple klister in the kick zone if necessary. Or just double-pole around. Good prep for double-poling the Birkie! :-)

Do no-wax skis work on granular ice? I know purple klister sometimes does....

Fish-scale types work as long as the scales are not too worn down. Mohairs work really well on ice. Glide is usually no issue on granular ice.
