Is this your midwinter/February break-turned-training camp?

Yep! It's the time when I am most able to train, so I'm doing as much as I can

You guys get a mid-winter break? Nice. (Or is it a snow day?)
Sweden has winter sports breaks. It's a pretty cool idea. I remember my Swedish family took me downhill skiing. Almost broke my knees, but it was a memorable week!

Ya it is a break not just a snow day (we haven't gotten enough snow for that). And it sounds like it was a fun week for you Peggy! Good thing you didn't break your knees thought cause that would've ended it quickly

Obvs I didn't break my knees -- but I was skiing down moguls, when I was just an advanced beginner skier, and I didn't really know how to deal with those. My knees took a beating! It didn't help that my host mother had borrowed skis from one person and boots from someone else, and the bindings weren't really right for the boots. I remember continually coming out of my skis.

Oof. That sounds difficult and frustrating
