It’s like the land that time forgot! I forgot to take my machete todsy, so went out of my way to avoid it on brown. It’s horrid.

I thought it was really quite tame yesterday. Think you're both getting too soft.

Tame as in pointless navigational challenge - especially when we didn't go into the nice area on the other side of the fence which is why I was disappointed. It made my course too similar to the one we had at the 6 Day. There are lots of nicer, more navigationally challenging bits of Birsemore.

The gorge was OK. What was a little surprising was the fact that both the start and #1 were identical to what I had at the 6 Days.
I agree it would have been nice to get into the complex area over the fence (the Fungle?)
It would have added an extra 10 mins too....

You should have done brown. Brown was a very pleasant tour of all of the nicest bits of the area. The gorge was very definitely NOT ok at the 6 day, but the winter would have killed the worst of the veg.

I've been to Birsemore 3 times in the last 10 years (2 x SOLs & 6days), and I've had EXACTLY the same control all 3 times!! One thing I always do when planning is to look at where the controls were last time and try and avoid them!!
