Full details of the hotels where blocks of rooms have been set aside for participants are now posted and the earlybird registration deadline of March 3 is looming so let's make it official in the eyes of Attackpoint - the 2019 Quantico Classic, including OUSA's Junior National Championships, is open for business.
All races will take place on the Beaverdam Run map, only previously used for Day 1 of the 2017 Classic Champs. Streamers have been hung in the terrain with care, in the hopes that a few hundred orienteers soon will be there. And the flower of US junior orienteering will certainly be there, competing for spots on the US team for the Junior World Orienteering Championships as well as Interscholastic and Intercollegiate glory. All in all, it should be a fine weekend of orienteering and QOC looks forward to hosting as many of our orienteering friends, old and new, as will fit into a very large military training area.
