after 2 years of fortnightly chemo I have finally worked out which days to try some exercise or heavy thinking, and which days it is not worth even trying.
Hope everything goes well, and don't be tempted to burn too much of the candle at both ends - some things are more important than orienteering carnivals.

I think I learned something about how there are days when people having chemo have good energy levels at about the point that Rachel Johnson (who had a bout of it a few years ago) was blowing me away between the last control and the finish at a street-O while she was undergoing it.
Trouble is timing of the "pep drug" - normally an antinausea (though jennycass will know oodles more). rockman's high times were usually late evening to early morning... very inconvenient!
Early days for my treatment so no pattern established as yet.
