Course validators came back unhappy seeing 6-8 inches of snow...
The good news is there won't be any snakes!

Here is weather forecast:

Here is Vantage web cam:

Here is Quincy web cam:

The next 2 weeks are pretty OK weather though and little stuff coming down.

Anna protests your description of "no snakes" as good news. ;-) Sorry we'll miss it, have fun!

Has anyone booked accommodation yet? If so, where? (Quincy vs. Ellensburg)

Quincy is ~10 minutes closer to the event, but Ellensburg is ~50 minutes closer to Seattle. Over the course of the weekend, I think it makes more logistical sense to stay in Ellensburg, for the Frenchman venues (Quincy makes more sense for a race at Bishop's Land).

But, if there's critical mass already staying in Quincy, then there's a social component to staying there.

Good questions! I was planning to stay in Quincy, but the Knights Inn appears to be fully booked. Ellensburg looks like it has more options so I'll probably end up there.

We're in Ellensburg, but just Sat night. [Super 8]

We are planning on camping as well.

Where are people camping? Also looks like warm weather throughout the week so the snow should be gone by the weekend

We're also at the Super 8 in Ellensburg, both nights. I'll schedule a team meeting for JWOC 2037!
