Based on the positions of your best 3.
There was actually a bit of confusion about the scoring, as nobody could actually remember. UCD won if you based it on positions, but CIT won based on times. After consulting "the rules", we found that it was based on positions, ie a UCD victory, but in the circumstances everyone was happy to call it a dead heat.

Where were the IVs even on, I presume in Cork somewhere? Not listed on orienteering.ie.

There were on the fixtures list alright, but weren't properly labelled. The results arent on orienteerig.ie yet, but are available here:
