That much pain must be sooooo debilitating.
I hope someone can relieve your pain. J
It's frustrating, to be sure. For now the doc has prescribed me a veritable swag bag of drugs whose names I can barely pronounce, but thinks that the absence of sciatica and involuntary bowel events (other than the usual gaseous variety) mean that, hopefully, once I control the spasm and get any swelling down, there'll be no further disc damage. Just several weeks of recovering torn muscles and retraining my brain that it's OK to use them again. Meanwhile I'm feeling very spacey, wooooo
Er. Safe to say I'll not be able to help at the RC on Thursday :-(. Sorry mate.
By 'eck. It's a good job there's no out of season drugs testing going on for you! :-)
But I now know where to come to get some "escape" tablets :-)
No worries about Thursday.
Just you get better.
Heeeeey man I can do you a good deal on these tamazzo tazamamo maztamomo ah bollards
Jeez that all sounds pretty bad....hope it improves soon!
Ah well, it was about time that my blog reverted to its usual 'litany of despair'; it has been far too chipper of late.
Thanks! I'll get there. In time for my first year as an M50, anyway - this year's big competitions will be a write off. And I was going to blitz you all (ha ha!!!)
Cheers Andy. No real progress in a week - other than to feel increasingly groggy from the drugs - so if I still can't sit or stand for more than five-ten minutes by the end of the weekend then I'll have to try to get some scans done. Of course, that might take weeks. Oh for private healthcare.
