Were you pushing so hard you were exploding your head?
I switched to more reps with lighter weights to try and extend the life of my joints based on my doctor’s recommendation.
With my glaucoma I don't want to up the pressure too much. According to my docs moderate strength training is fine, but I think pushing hard isn't great for me now. I need to avoid the Valsalva-maneuver by being sure to not hold my breath too.
Ah. That makes sense. I often neglect breathing when lifting. Long planks may be curing me of that tendency.
