You mean they were umpires, or cheerleaders?
They were cheering when they saw fresh flesh on the horizon.
Maybe tt means they were vampires...
Prue - up here in the "tropical" north we have mosquitoes.
Finally I make sense of all this.
I believe that in Scandinavia they are referred to as the Finnish air force!
Wow I can understand now!!!
Newcastle was a nice place ... until now. I hate mozzies.
Prue - only parts of it. Unfortunately my home parkrun at Uni is terrible at this time of the year so I'm going to another until the cheer squad DIES!
I was considering doing a Newcastle parkrun on the morning of the MTBO sprint champs but I might be pushing it a bit far with the parkrun tourist thing (sprint champs is from 9:00).
I am doing parkrun that day - but will be at MTBO from 11. I think I'll do a parkrun - you concentrate on the wheelie things.
But having said that I think Blue Gum Hills parkrun is quite close - just not one of the fast courses (it is on one of our O maps) - all gravel or grass and tbh not attractive. Only real thing going for it is that there are no roads. Malcolm R and Carolyn M go there for parkrun a fair bit - unlikely on that day though. You here for the Night champs? or did I get the wrong gist of conversation with AP?
I saw that Blue Gum was the nearest and that it didn't have particularly fast times. Problem would be convincing Craig S to go (we are sharing transport) which is unlikely to happen.
Yes Joel and I will both be there on Wednesday for the night champs then two days of 'training'.
