Favourite cranky old person:

Anyway, I explain how the lower house works and that if she doesn't put a number in the box, he won't get a vote from her.

She then says "Good, I want Labor", so she gets the Labor how to vote from the Labor guy to go with the Greens one.

After missing the entrance, she comes back and disappears inside for a while, before emerging.

I ask "How did you go ?"

"OK, I want her to stay in and finish the job" (this time pointing at Gladys poster).

I liked the ones who complained about not being able to vote online. My standard retort was well you need to vote for someone that is going to change the system because it needs to be done by an act of parliament.
