The best thing about the FP for me? The fact that the FP wasn’t attending the QOC event this past weekend. Our gain was your loss.

Ha ha! I can't remember what FP stands for, but I know exactly who you're referring to. Cristina & I tried to identify him...but no luck. I guess he wasn't hanging around socializing with everybody at the finish? ;-)

Flying Pig for the first, and whatever works for the second. Looking forward to seeing you mid-April. Perhaps we can remedy the lack of face for you.

Mike ID’d FP and then a little later Boris came trotting over to casually do the same. Folks were looking out for us.

No, I was worried about that, but I didn't go to Kentucky. I suspect it's my old pal, known him for probably 25 years. I remember encountering him at a QOC meet a couple of years ago, and it brightened up my whole day. Because I realized that despite how awful I was feeling (tough course, hot day), it could be worse. I could be him.

Hehe. BTW, Chez Meyer is very close to the airport, and just a mile off of 395 and King ST/Rt 7, and no charge for showering after the QOC event.
