Ouch, what happened going to pt 3?
Just running around hunting for the flag instead of actually looking at the map. I just didn't get a good start on the course - more running in the direction and reading stuff rather than reading the map and then deciding where to go. A big mistake woke me up.
It is funny how often I have to relearn the same lesson!
Still had a better weekend than the Jayhawks.
Spike and the Jayhawks are both having a rebuilding year.
The Jayhawk's injury to Azubuike was a tough break. I just didn't get my mind working. On the plus side, I hope to be sharper at West Point while the Jayhawks have to wait a lot longer.
I'm hoping that Azubuike will stick around for next year given his obvious disappointment at not being able to play for most of the season. And all the freshmen stick around (I don't see any really awesome draft picks ...). In fact, it would be great if the whole team comes back (I don't actually know if there are any seniors this year. Lightfoot?)
Okay, Google to the rescue: looks like only Vick is a sr. Might he be eligible to come back next year given that he didn't play most of this? Maybe he doesn't want to? Did we ever find out what personal reason he had for leaving?? So many questions.
Azubuike is so much fun to watch. I hope he comes back. If he goes pro, that's fine and probably better for his long-term career.
I'm sure Vick can't come back for another year.
I'm also curious if KU will change how they play defense. It seems like the focus on allowing 3s but preventing people from driving to the basket is a bit old fashioned.
And, of course, I'm also hoping that KU hasn't been cheating. Who knows what will come of all the Addidas investigation stuff.
Yes! On all that.
Too bad Vick can't come back but it's not unexpected. I kind of think Azubuike will, but I have no insider knowledge. ;-)
