Discussion: Hurd?

Interesting. What other part to Hurd is there?

There is more land north of the winter parking lot. Our map shows contours and some stonewalls, but we never go there. We walked west down to the river and then south along the steep slope a few contours above the water then southeast up a long line of huge cliffs.

What I remember of those areas, if I read you right, is lots of barberry to the north and thick mt laurel below those cliffs. As for the steep slope, very poor lidar data on the lower part of it. Didn’t really spend much time on the slope or below the cliffs. The slope was difficult and didn’t seem to be a good way to connect the area below the cliffs to the top of the cliffs.
