I don't know much of anything about plants outside of the Sonoran Desert (except what the pollen looks like under a microscope) but according to pollen.com the top allergens right now are poplar, juniper, and maple. When I was in Texas I seemed to have problems that aligned with the juniper down there, so that could be the culprit for me. In Norway it seemed to be birch.

Maple is easy to see when it's in bloom and I haven't seen it yet, but the season could be advanced where you are. I'll look for poplar, I have a vague idea what that might look like. Juniper I have no clue, and that may well be it.

I used to be really sensitive to birch pollen, and this was generally the start of the season for it, but only mildly sensitive in recent years.

One of our maples in a sunny spot is flowering but others that were snow bound until Monday are just breaking out. Many other close behind.
