I read once that Bill Rodgers had a short leg...all I know is my stride is really off and my current theory is that when I was young certain muscles that lift my right leg and help it keep up with the left leg could do just that...but now they are weak and take a while to 'warm up' but even then I'm slowed down from what I could run.
I'm going to keep doing certain exercises and see if I could overcome this.
Know you are disappointed or shocked at my incredibly slow pace. At least it did not FEEL fast...so I know I have more in the tank now. I can run 9:15 pace for 10K right now...just not today.
