the last time the Tories were in power in Ontario we had Walkerton. With the money needed to stop flooding and fires being cut while the incentives to get off of fossil fuels eliminated not to mention massive cuts to MNRF and MECP something very bad is going to happen.

And don't get me started on education cuts.

Mike Harris is going to look rather tame compared to these assholes.

When our politicians can continually lie and get away with it by eliminating the people that provide the checks and balances we are in very dangerous times.

"Mike Harris is going to look rather tame compared to these assholes."

That is a very strange line as the most right wing of Toronto Sun writers have been complaining since Thursday that this Budget was nothing at all like the Harris' Common Sense Revolution. Everyone was pretty surprised in the Budget Lock-up that there weren't more cuts.

This is what the Toronto Star said, a noted fan of Ford:
"There are no savage cuts in the first Ford-Fedeli budget, which could easily have been delivered by former premier Dalton McGuinty back when he belatedly discovered austerity"

It's not all about cuts its about the attacks and politics of division and lies as well.

Mike Harris in an era of social media would have been more dangerous but Ford attacking our education system by cherry picking one poor performance metric is pure propaganda. Very dangerous that they are ignoring research experts in many fields.

We strongly condemned the increased in K-12 class-size in our release.

The leading experts on post-secondary funding are waiting for the Tuesday announcement about criteria, will be very interesting.

Universities have already been cut over $1B when you factor in the tuition decrease. Will the criteria be used to cut even more money or reallocate or worse?
