Bless you for giving a Jamaican dog a new lease on life. What's with the flea count?

Hey Thanks, they don’t allow any fleas on a dog to be exported.
This turned into such a cluster F that cost me an extra $400.
Update the dog is nice but is aggressive with other dogs of mine and cats.
I got her out of Jamaica and now I need to find her a new home. In the meantime she is kept separate from the other animals as of now.

Gee...$400 for a dog with a poor personality? From some of the pictures on your Facebook page, it looks like Jamaica is flooded with homeless dogs. Was this the dog you wanted originally? Or the only one without fleas?

Has Rich Gaylord ever replaced his German Shepherd? He used to own two. Maybe he'd be interested....

Yes Jamaica is flooded with homeless dogs. She was the dog I originally went to get.
Little did I know her true personality. We have the older foster parent who is willing to take her back. She lives in New Hampshire, so hopefully I can drive out next week and meet her halfway.

Sorry for the unfortunate turn of events. Your new dog has had a hard life & relocating to your "open arms" animal home is apparently equally hard.

It's still a beautiful-looking dog. I can just see him, running at Bristol Woods with you.

Don't know about the cat, but I think Soupbone's rat terriers could take care of themselves. Did you make any effort to introduce them slowly and make friends? Or fight it out: may the best dog win!

With a proper trainer it could work out. I am not that person and don’t have those skills.
