I'm trying to guess which of the restaurants that show up in Google Maps at the start of that track is one you'll be working at... :-)
None of the Dim Sum places would hire me once they realized that I neither speak Cantonese nor am I capable of keeping my hands off of any bbq pork buns that come near me.
Cristina can't keep her hands off buns. Got it. Noted.
So....if not a dim sum restaurant!
What then! There are so many tasty foods!
Does that mean you'll be coming to the World Cup in Guangzhou?
no, I don't love dim sum that much.
We enjoyed Guangzhou when we were there with Samantha. But it was SO hot and SO humid. Running was a struggle.
I don't think we had any dim sum.
The humidity should be manageable by late October when the World Cup is. I was there in late June last year and it was definitely hard going.
Yeah we were there in early September. I'm sure it's nicer later in the year.
Still, I really liked the city. I'd love to have an opportunity to orienteer in China.
Next trip. (No more adoptions! But maybe some year a heritage visit...)
