Agh chemistry and lab reports... sounds very fun... About the 5k, you got this! I used to hate doing long distances on the track (I still kinda do) but the distance flies pretty quickly and if you pace yourself correctly it can be a lot of fun to pass others who didn't (sadly, I was usually the one who got passed). Tracks are flat you'll be fine. :) Try picking a consistent pace as said above. Im not sure what you'll be running but 3:50-4:00 maybe?

Haha thanks for the tips, guys! Daniel and Michael- yeah, I think pacing will be key. Tracks just seem fast and scary but I guess the 5k is slower and more controlled :)
