Is that the map that at one point had artwork of deer and trees and such around the periphery? I think I've run there (on a later version), but I can't remember for sure.

Been quite a while since I've orienteered in that part of the country.

That's the one. It also had lots of brown squiggles and cliffs and other fine stony features.

I did run there once, in March of 1984, and you took first place. I missed the first day of the weekend because I was off on a notorious boondoggle in Tennessee.

I believe in March of 1984 I was in Europe, enjoying home cooked meals straight out of little green cans.

Not sure how that date got mangled on the way from my brain to my fingers. In March of 1984 I had only a few Orange courses under my belt. Hawn was March of 2004.
