Sounds like you’re well prepped, looking forward to living for some dot watching shortly ;-)

Haha thankyou! Hoping after GL3D I'll be fully prepped! Fluctuating between very excited and very nervous!

I've not seen any messages from you on the facebook group asking what shoes you should use or your preference between gps or map and compass. Therefore I can only assume you are hideously ill-prepared and your insta game is not up to scratch....

Oooo I was going to to do GL3D then it became a silly idea. Maybe I can get a last minute entry from someone dropping out...definitely a good bit of final fine tuning :-)

Nic - Ha! Apologies for my lack of commitment.. I did 'gram my haul of food however so surely I get extra points for that ;) don't get me started on map vs GPS conversations!!

Lucy - yeah!! It looks like a good weekend! Surely you know enough people to pull a few strings.. expensive but looks fun :) plus you can do any course.. the cafe course sounds very appealing..

Yeah, I’d be a cafe runner at the moment, I’m assuming that means I get to stop for cake?

Quote from the webiste:

'The Café Course has fewer checkpoints each day, and a route more focused on valley traverses and 'middle mountain' terrain between the overnight camps… and time to visit the very best Lake District cafés (or pubs) where possible in the area!'

I'm really hoping I can convince my pal that if we do long days on Sat/Sun we can do the cafe course on Monday!!!
