1.82 is straight line, the 2.2 is actual distance based on best route (standard for urban sprints, although we don’t often remember to do that).

Jon also thought the stairs were narrow in the final version. They’re ISSOM spec, but he’s toying with widening them on future maps to make them more readable...

Oh, that's good to know.

Basically the only times I really hesitated greatly were trying to read the stairways, and I was using both my O glasses (correcting astigmatism) *and* a magnifying glass, and still having trouble seeing them. It would be great if Jon could widen the staircases.

The one I had the most trouble seeing was the way out of Brown 4; all I saw were solid (uncrossable) lines around and between the buildings.

I also had a lot of problems reading the stairs and figuring out where gaps were in that area, even when standing still and looking at it after finishing. (And my eyes aren't even that bad.) It was still super fun but I would have loved that area at maybe 1:2,500!
