Discussion: Mayo Clinic

I watched a documentary on Netflix about the Mayo Clinic. Really interesting. The concept the two brothers developed a good teamwork philosophy after taking over from their Dad (who like Beardsley hurt himself working on farm equipment...ironically had a hand amputated and he died of infection even though his family pioneered fighting germs and infections).

If you go to the Mayo Clinic and you have something that needs more than one specialist you don't have to spend time running around finding all kinds of doctors...you first doctor calls in whatever doctor/s he feels you need to assist him/her with treating you. Also they get lab results right away...the labs are right next to where the Doctors work. Of course its hard to get in.
