That internal debating takes energy! You have had quite a good season. I think my elbow is mostly recovered, and I will try to start up again in the coming season (that is, starting tomorrow). Rowing is fine if one keeps doing it, but it is always hard to start up again after a long layoff.

Well thanks to your encouragement years ago, rowing has become my primary form of winter exercise. I even suggested to PG at the beginning of the winter that he consider buying or borrowing a Concept II so he didn't have to risk biking on snowy roads all winter. I think for old guys, rowing is an excellent aerobic, low-stress, low-risk form of exercise!

And yes, it is always hard to begin the season...harder and harder each year! But I'm glad your elbow is beginning to feel ok. Hope it holds up to an occasional piece in the new season. And this summer I'm going to try to follow another piece of your advice, and do some rowing each month, despite the dank and stuffy air in the basement.

If I get my act together with rowing, I can drag the concept 2 out on the deck on nice summer days. Very fine!
