yep felt like having a rant. feel better now
Looking at your training log it does appear you were a lot more focused on running and orienteering between 2010 and 2013 clocking up 2-3000km a year. The last few years it appears you're training is spread more thinly with adventure racing being added and even though your hours have increased the running has decreased.
So theoretically I guess you should be a slower/weaker runner at present due to less training. Whether that makes you a 'weak' runner I guess is another matter particularly as the word doesn't say much. My 5k pace is pretty weak, my plodding pace is slightly better. Weak could also mean the ability to move through rough terrain fast or thick scrub, practice probably helps with the first one but size is a definite advantage with scrub. Weak could also mean mentally, again whether this is true or not is hard to know without being in someone's head.
Opinions are a dime a dozen and unless you're asking for the opinion of someone you respect then I would just ignore it.
But questioning what you can do to improve is always worthwhile, after all if you keep doing the same thing and aren't getting better results then you probably need to change something.
if you're weak then I'm just a tad pathetic
