When I turned 55 I wasn't ready to be on Brown forever, and acted accordingly.

I still pick and choose at local events, but my days competing with the younger ladies on Green at National meets are over.

I just hope to still be going out on Brown for a long time to come. ;-)

I'm finding myself doing Brown more and more, but I definitely still want to run Green more often than not at national events. Sometimes the body has different ideas. however :-(
I still often run longer courses at local events (Blue at the last one, B'goat training). I enjoy the Brown courses though because it's fun to be able to run hard for a shorter period of time. The courses often are compromised by the length though, with not enough distance to get into good terrain.

I stayed on Green last year (my first official year on brown). I ran Green in KY because I never won F50. I dropped to brown at West Point for the first time because I was afraid of the hills ;). Don’t know what I will do for the rest of the year.

My motto: never run up at West Point. (campus sprints excluded!)

Ditto Peggy about West Point! You never know what they'll throw at you.
