Oh delicious... sooo tasty!!! I love ginger-baked products. I even gave some to Rickys' family for xmas presents. We all had lots of fun putting on German accents and asking each other if they wanted some pfeffernusse.
You can make pfeffernusse? I am in AWE. I love them.
Ginger biscuits are my speciality - including orienteering-control biscuits for club relay prizes - but I'd never before tried the German Lebkuchen (technically Pfeffernusse refers to the shape of the little round iced version) recipe. Can already think of some small refinements I could make, especially if Bridget would like to place an order for 7 months' time...
Eleanor so wanted to help me with the icing process that I gave her a few of the munted ones to decorate all by herself, and she got to keep them :)
