Scrappy Doo:
And a club captain who would select you on leg 1 ;-)

If they come as a pair we may be in talking premier league prices - although living in Bristol there is only one club you should be joining - we don't want orienteering turning into other sports ;-)

I’m flattered. Any higher offers?

Have you contacted FVO? I hear they're not too fussed about where you actually live ;-)

Old Daniel:
I don't think you should loose your links with your home club (not just because they need a fixtures secretary) but it is worth considering also joining the local club where ever you end up living. I don't suppose its occurred to you but you are now both celebrities! and as such are inspiring others to give it a go and then to improve. The biggest challenge we all have is to get young people into the sport (both Juniors and young adults) and if we can get any to do this then we need to have coaching and opportunities to race. (If I do well I could maybe make the Relay team etc.....) UBOC resurrection from the grave continues to be brilliant. but we also need Bath and Cardiff and...…
The idea of all the "young guns" in Edinburgh (and was Sheffield?) is actually a double edged sword …...Mark is a great guy and no doubt doing great things in Scotland but what happens to kids in Romsey..... not heard of Southampton University OC for some decades...

Totally agree Charles.
I’d love to see a Uni club at Swansea. It would be ideal for training with all the different types of areas so close by.
I may run for BOK in the relays next year if no one is keen from SBOC.

Bath University - BUMC? (Bath Uni Mountaineering club?) put on an awesome (BOK series) Urban the other night, and I was glad to see that most of the UBOC team from 2 weeks ago arrived via a train to compete . With Dan Weaver having a very fast run.

SUOC were active when I was a junior (in SOC), Charles, they had some seriously keen members! But I've not seen or heard of them for years now.....
