Yes, I've tried doing these exercises on trail runs before and quickly realized that I should watch where I'm putting my feet more.

Interestingly, Michel Gueorgiou recommends making a circuit through the forest where you can do these exercises. Gotta make it as relevant as possible!

Maybe the towpath? I think I'll try it first there. Maybe graduate to the forest in a few months ;-)

So the TSS sounds like a really fun idea but the price point is pretty punchy as a subscription...

For me the price per exercise ends up being about equal to the entry cost of a local event. I guess I would not hesitate to also pay for an extra local event each week if that were as convenient/available.

I hope the expense also changes my mindset about actually doing the exercises, e.g. "I might as well take this seriously" rather than "oh this might be fun but I am too busy/lazy this week." A bit early to be sure but it is working so far.

I based the pricing off of what seems to be the average for personal running coaches in the US, which is between $120-130/month.

They generally offer training plans and "limited" email communication with a coach. That doesn't seem like much more than what comes with the TSS.

I can't commit to complete personal coaching now because I have other priorities that come first, but I felt this would be a good way to open up at least one aspect of personal coaching to the community at large.

That said, if there's anyone who really wants to be a subscriber but can't make it happen financially, I'd love to talk with them about how we could make it work. I'll put that in the doc now.
