If yes - I had a similar experience the week after Boston, but I could not figure out what caused it - it just got worse when I O'd at Bear Brook and the 2 weeks following - it started to hurt between mile 2 - 3 every time I went for a run. I regressed to walking, and finally easy biking only. Now, with PT and a month later it is starting to heal. PT's tell me not to aggravate it.

My problem was never more than minor and thankfully, went away quickly. The groin thing wasn't what was making it hard to stand up and walk, it was that everything else was sore. I wonder what it will be like when I actualy get old.

I guess you need more training, more mileage when you get old - that way you are sore all the time and it becomes an every day thing that you get used to it - or your mind gives up noticing it...
