Start heading up the steps (or go next to them). After the first set, a trail branches off to the right and winds it's way up the hill. It connects with the Bootlegger right by the end of the Go Ape course. It's obviously the work of GORC and not a bandit trail; well benched and constant grade. Most remarkably, they managed to do it without switchbacks even though it's not particularly steep. Somebody clearly thought it through.
