It is crying out for a decent commentary....

And a total rethink.

And yet it almost always ends up with several teams within a few minutes (or seconds...) of each other.

It's a great event: almost always a competitive finish and usually rather better quality than the individual race - and how many other relays have category-winning teams with an age range of >50 years?
It does need commentary though - IMHO this is something SOA need to organise and contribute; having been involved last year I know how stretched MOR were and I don't think it can be left to the organising clubs who almost certainly don't have the tech or the experience.

Agreed, without commentary it's pants. There was a p a there but no-one apparently brave enough to guess what was going on :-)
