The brambles were grim for the first starters.

with a late start it was OK bramble wise. The steep slope will of been challenging any time but I liked the challenge. Think I was more scratched up from Brown clee but I did go straight through a bit of gorse and fall over in it which was not good.

As Ifor said. Later starters (ie. me), it was actually really good fun / a challenge, and not so long as to leave you in pieces...... we all had to walk all the way to no 1 though.

Doing a middle on it was perfect really. A long would of been hard. I was a bit disappointed we did not have some more challenging diagonal legs. Looking at Jackies course last night she had one far more interesting leg where she was 3 mins quicker than anyone else apparently so it's not just Clive that can throw himself down hill.

Oh wow! Agree Ifor. Middle was ideal . Long would have been too far, post-Brown Clee. Will go check out Jackie's splits! The Halletts are living legends.
