This is so tough. I hope that the injury agrees with your plan. I want to echo what Cristina said - you have a huge life-base to work from, and a little speedwork close to WOC is going to go a long way for the middle. Tough to have confidence off of less-than-ideal training, but that's a huge piece of it, so believe in yourself, Gatorlegs! Rooting for you!

In particular with preparation for soft and heavy Norwegian ground, leg strength has to be a big factor, which is something that can be added in as alternative training, without adding to the running workload as you recover from your injury. Maybe that's a way to stay on track without risking a re-injury?

At any rate, good luck with the recovery! There are lots of us rooting for you!
