Looks really nice there! Is that your new lot?

Yes, it is! Will post a few pictures tomorrow.

I can't wait to come visit you!

Wait, what? Are you moving?

Not for at least a year. First we have to build a house, after coming to agreement on said house. What we do know - single story with walk out basement on the west side of lot on the high area. Central living area with large kitchen, master on one end, guest room and workroom on the other end. Big mud room with sink appropriate for dog washing, laundry area, huge pantry. Large windows facing the creek, which you can't really see, but I'll know it is there.

9.8 acres with the north part being some trees and Kettle Run stream. A gazebo and tree house by the creek, and plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Roger and I have differing opinions on a fence - I would like to fence most of the lot, to keep the girls contained, which is about 2400' of fence.

I am already loving the people. We were given the name of a farmer's daughter, and she set me up with another farmer who is mowing and taking the hay, and in exchange he will bush hog down at the creek, and likely take away some old fence debris. In exchange for the hay!!

Sounds wonderful! :)

I think it needs to be mapped. :-)

I see it's conveniently close to Patriot High School ...

Oh, mapping would be nice, and I didn't notice how close Patriot HS is.

This is the lot

If you click Layers, then contours...(I think 2 foot contours), there is some texture but not terribly steep.

This is my new best friend's farm (that's per Roger), the one cutting the hay

Just across the private drive to the south.

The girls explored all of the land north of our lot on settlement day, all the way up to the road to the north. Thanks to the tracker Dee was wearing, I finally was able to get them when they got stuck in a corral. Roger says, Oh, they won't cross the creek. Haha! That is why I would like fence, lots of fence.

Parked the car, let the girls loose and they were off, crossing over the creek and visiting Manley Heights. Dee lost her collar and tags somewhere out there. Luckily, the tracker was on her harness. The blue lines are when the tracker software was not on, since I have to restart it every 15 minutes.

If you are thinking of the Patriot NJROTC unit that Mike Rodrigues brings to O events, that one is based in Frederick, MD.

Yes, I know, but it is nice to have a school near by, though not too closely by. :)

I love the Beagle Trax!

Is invisible fence a practical option?
