the feeling - I just weeded 2 weeks ago and it needs it again already!

Oh my god, I've completely given up. Need. Contractor.

Busy spreading leaf mulch and wood chips to avoid the issue.

Part of my problem is I have a lot of nice flowers that bloom and then need to be cut back, and ferns and other things that go wild and start to overtake things, and bushes and hedges that need trimming all the time. My policy of neglect doesn't seem to kill anything off. I also have no where to put everything I cut back - my mulch pile is already too big. I hate to put stuff in the trash but I think that's what's going to have to happen.

I would definitely pay someone to take care of it all if I could find someone!

Ah! Ferns are a continuous problem along with vinca, pachysandra, lamia, ajuga. And we actually bought some of those things before we learned and then it is too late.
