I got the exact same thing when I moved here too, and I'm still trying to resolve it all... Definately working long hours on the feet and then training either side of it is not sustainable- I'm having to take a lot more "rest days" and settle for a lot less training hours than I'd like to atm. Would love to try and figure it all out too (atm I'm just looking for a new job :L...)

Yeah it's tough, I think Nic is totally right though, it's time on feet that means more up here, distance becomes something of an irrelevance on most runs. I think the intensity is a big thing, so much harder to recover off hard runs here because they're so much more taxing than a road or track session! Just not sustainable to do as many hard one's I think. It's also just been such a busy time, loads of travelling and racing with no time off between that and work so I think it was just overreaching to be honest!
