I definitely approve of the idea of researching while running (two of my papers were inspired by local climate variations encountered on runs); would have thought that in your line of work there might be more opportunities at times other than midday?

(Most impressive astronomical sight seen while running? That would be a spectacular aurora in southern England, during a famous (to those in the know) geomagnetic storm in March 1989 - apparently the first time since the 1930s that one had been seen so far south).

Ah, I gave the wrong impression! =) Just that I'm now researching with my time in general with classes ended, didn't actually get much done on yesterday's run, as was mostly focused on running posture, being symmetric, etc.

But very neat about aurora. I have yet to see one and would really like to! I mean, glowing sky plasma, how cool is that??
