Oh, were you planning on growing up? I didn't do that. I skipped directly from teenager to geezer.

I like to think of flailing as exploring options. Sometimes extensively.

I do a lot of that. I seem to enjoy finding a new job and figuring out how it works, but it's a rare week that I'm not looking for something new, regardless of how happy I am in the current job, or how nice the situation is.

Feeling like I've been making some poor life choices recently, not just regarding work, and it's all crashing in on me. About to crack. Wish I had some kind of larger goal in mind for something so that the smaller choices wouldn't seem so important.

I definitely went through some cracking moments in finding what I think is most important (and therefore goal-worthy). It rearranged my priorities pretty thoroughly, and in retrospect, that was a more difficult process than I wanted it to be. Not that I have it all figured out, mind you, but I think just being aware you’re reevaluating some things helps you get to the point where you can come to some good conclusions.

Good to have your friends around you at these moments. Speaking of which, are you sprinting tomorrow?

Probably? There are also a lot of rainbows to be seen downtown that will be competing for our attention.

Here's a positive spin: you are smart and talented at so many things that it's understandably hard to pick just one path.

Yup, I agree w/ bbrooke's assessment. You have so many interests & skills!

What Brooke said!

I'm glad you managed to come sprinting - I hope that it was fun, took your mind off the grownup game, and got out some frustration.
