Yikes, I had a patient with one of the blistering rashes, but they assured me it was a spider bite. I sent them to the MD anyway- hope it got caught as possible Lyme rash.

Apparently, "spider bite" is a common mistake when it's actually a Lyme rash. I didn't know that.

We’ve each found one on the other on this trip. Both had to be removed with tweezers and were wriggly black-legged ticks that creeped me out!!! Yech . No rashes -yet.
I can’t believe we haven’t found more actually as Eastern Ontario and the Ottawa region have big numbers. And there are sign everywhere warning about them in Quebec, les tiques.

Les tiques - bleaagh! There are some nasty tiques in France with a worse disease than Lyme so it's good we're practising our tique checks chaque jour.
