It was a $h!tty day for anything other than training!
Longest training run I've had in years (even though it was broken up by bushwhacks). I was pretty happy that I was able to run some pretty technical trails for the last 30 mins and still had some pace and a little spring in my step for hurdling obstacles.
Also first no wipeout run over 45 mins in as long as I can remember!!
… although sometimes I think stumbling and recovering without falling causes more stress/strain than had I actually just 'tuck and rolled' out of it.
Agreed, I end up with bumps and bruises when I wipe out but rarely do I twist or sprain something in a splat.
