yes, definitely, I need to become more aware of the need for rest and how much various muscle groups are stressed; these sudden injuries are disruptive; for that injury, I had done proper warmup and roller before it happened; but I had done my very first swim workout the night before, perhaps that was stressing the hamstring in some way. ?? anyway, this is quite a serious hamstring injury; there's a dark blood mark so it's a muscle tear; if I had money for platelet therapy, this would be the time to do it.
