Kind of miss having my recumbent. It was a heavy beast, but a lot of fun to tool around on. I really should get out on my bike, but no real inclination to do long solo rides, and not motivated enough to tool around the neighborhood either.

Do you remember what yours weighed? Mine is currently tipping the scales at a hair under 30 pounds. The frame is definitely overbuilt, nothing can be done about that, but some of that weight is also in the seat, which is largely made of wood(!), and there's definitely potential for saving some there. It's already got fairly light wheels, and I guess I could shave off a bit with different brakes, but there's really nothing that can be done about the drive train, because some geometry errors in the frame design resulted in there being only one combination of obscure, obsolete parts that barely works. I do have an extra set of shift levers on it that aren't connected to anything, and I should remove those, but that won't save much weight. Mostly I need to get around to building the new seat that's been in the works for a couple of... decades...

I recall it being in the upper 30s. Steel frame, solid build but a reputation for being one of the heavier bents.
