3rd in Women's was Grace Molloy who until around Easter was a visiting scholar in NSW. Her performance so soon after visiting, training and coaching as well as mapping with so many of our clubs will serve as a wonderful role model and inspiration to our developing orienteers.
Angus was the co-leader with Aston at the 3rd control, but his fast start hit him hard when he lost 145 places at the 4th control
Grace had a horror start, losing 22 secs at the 1st control, but finishing only 14 secs from the win
I had anticipated a placing for her!
Was a bit sad to watch the Egyptian girl taking 15 min to even head in the direction of the first control and running off the map twice in that time...
Dante went to no. 2 first, and only got there in the same time as Aston. Replay
