Still waiting to hear back from blood tests...to me it will be a 'good' sign if I have an infection. Combine that with dehydration and exercise and perhaps kidney stones and hopefully some part of that combination is the cause for my blood and clot peeing.

I feel fine (for 63 soon to be 64) so based on being sensitive to my body I feel things are okay but we'll see.

More Ciprofloxacin 500mg for me. I noticed this the first time but it's really bothersome to me this time...a big side effect possibility is on your tendons especially if you are over 60. Gulp. Buddy of mine I worked with at USAA that is retired fighting urinary infection also...he went through a cycle of some drug (probably not cipro) and feels he still has an infection.

Hope your heart test report is good. I tried to google some of the negative parts of the urine test but I really could not find any clear definitive answers. What I did understand on at least two of them was it was a sign of bacterial infection...

Old old old...waiting to hear about your test and my ole USAA buddy's test (which will probably be a few days in his case). Looks like a few others are waiting to hear from you also.

Yeah... I'm waiting too.
I'm fine... just can't run much. Or work much.
Ever had a bladder or kidney stone?

I always assumed I had and it was causing the blood and that exercise and dehydration made the blood worse...but I have not seen anything in a long time that appears to b a stone...just blood or clots...since I started drinking more water, lemonade, etc in past week much less blood...'only' 2 or three times seeing blood and only a few clots.

Ironically the clots started when I took cipro the first time...I hoped they were a sign of killing infection. I still feel fine except for almost daily ache or 'injury' of the day.

I do believe I should be able to run at least a minute faster in training and in the races I ran...in the shape I have been this year...its the leg thing but more than ever it seems in old age slow is slow and fast is fast and I need more fast.

Good luck on test.

On face book one of our friends that has moved to Dallas posted her middle son who is 25 to 30 I think is going to run some 100 mile type mountain race that is mostly in France and near Switzerland (I might be getting distance/exact location wrong)...she posted a 3d type map and it was a killer course.
