Well, Mark couldn't have gotten a better half-sister.

A sister and a half, really.

Not the first story like this that I've heard. Of the others, the one I'm most familiar with has turned out great.

What an amazing story. I’m sure it’s quite a shock for all of you. Good for you for meeting him and welcoming him.

Wow! I’ve done DNA testing but found no surprises. I’ve read a bunch of books by people who found new family members (expected and unexpected) through DNA. So fascinating.
Glad it’s all going well for you and your family!

DNA testing has turned up a new cousin, a delightful person, and just recently the son of another cousin. Pretty cool.

Aside from my brother, my closest DNA match is a woman who is a complete mystery. (Followed by a bunch of known second cousins.) But she didn't respond when I sent her a message.

Thanks everyone. Yes, this journey should be interesting. But now we're wondering who else might turn up. The joys of modern technology, indeed.

What a moving story! I'm glad it turned out well. I see some resemblance; do you think so, too...?

I read this a few months ago and found it to be fascinating:
